Carrie Busbee
Chief Information Officer, Core & Main
Carrie Busbee is CIO of Core & Main, a distributor of waterworks and fire protection infrastructure products in the U.S. As information technology leader, Busbee clears the path for the use of technology as a strategic enabler for the company and its customers. Before Core & Main, Busbee served in various roles at HD Supply, including director of enterprise applications where she led the enterprise ecommerce team, and as director of data and analytics for the facilities maintenance (FM) business unit. Under her leadership, FM developed and executed a data strategy to create a data-driven culture and support a consumer-focused ecommerce experience.
Darren Taylor
Darren Taylor is the former SVP, Marketing and Digital, for FleetPride. He is a senior executive with a rare combination of Global 500 strategy formulation skills, Fortune 500 operational experience and a track record for driving commercial growth through digital innovation in both entrepreneurial and large corporate environments. Taylor also served as the Chief Marketing Officer at MORSCO, a $1B+ holding company of B2B and luxury consumer brands. Previously, he led the ecommerce strategy and execution at one of the U.S.’s top 15 internet retailers and started an entertainment dotcom that was named “one of Midwest’s top 75 high tech firms” by i-Street magazine.
John Pehler
John is a strategic advisor to executive teams, bringing more than 30 years of experience spearheading organizational change in highly complex, matrixed organizations. He has succeeded in architecting and operationalizing business strategies, establishing digital priorities and roadmaps, developing organizational structures and operating models, and implementing frameworks and processes around customer experience, digital integration and deployment, data analytics, design-thinking, agile methodologies and more.
His focus areas are digital strategy and business transformation, ecommerce and marketing technology, end-user experiences, data management and analytics, organizational structures and operating models, and information technology governance models to enable enterprise value creation. He works to ensure that the essential functions of the digital portfolio are planned, managed and governed in a consistent, transparent and
disciplined manner.
John’s most recent role was as Chief Digital Officer for Rexel USA, a $7 billion business comprising multiple go-to-market brands. Prior to that role, John developed organizations and operating models that drove digital and business transformations at Caterpillar and W.W. Grainger.
John holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
